Ottimate is seeking a Spend Payment Operations Analyst to support our fintech-driven accounts payable platform. You will resolve client inquiries end-to-end, investigate complex issues using logs and processor portals, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to fix root causes.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted automation and scalable playbooks for efficient support. The position requires mid-to-senior level expertise in payment operations, technical troubleshooting, and ERP system knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dedicated experience in payment operations, fintech, or card programs.
• Deep knowledge of card issuing, interchange, ACH rules, and end-to-end reconciliation.
• Advanced technical troubleshooting with raw logs, error payloads, and transaction histories.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex card declines, reimbursement, and ERP export tickets via Freshdesk, email, and live calls.
• Trace failed transactions using internal tools and processor portals to guide clients on resolution steps.
• Investigate platform bugs and gather logs/reproduction steps before submitting Jira tickets.
• Create and own SOPs/Notion docs for edge cases and documented processes.
• Identify repetitive tasks and build AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency.
