Job summary

Ottimate is seeking a Spend Payment Operations Analyst to resolve complex client inquiries end-to-end within the Spend Management and Payment Operations workflows. You will investigate issues using internal admin tools, logs, and processor platforms, and partner with Product and Engineering to fix system-level problems.

The role requires mid-to-senior level expertise in payment operations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build SOPs and automation to scale processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in payment operations or fintech support.
• Deep knowledge of card issuing, interchange, ACH rules, and expense reconciliation.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot by inspecting logs and payloads independently.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex card declines, reimbursements, location mapping, and ERP export tickets.
• Trace failed transactions using internal tools and processor portals.
• Perform initial platform investigations and prepare Jira tickets.
• Create SOPs and Notion docs for undocumented edge cases.
• Identify repetitive tasks and design AI-assisted automation workflows.
