Job summary

Farmers Group Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst to work remotely from Mexico. You will extract and manipulate data to satisfy requests, build reports, and validate data quality using SQL, Power BI, Cognos, and OBIEE environments.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and 2+ years in data extraction/analysis, plus advanced Excel and BI tool skills. Collaboration and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience with data extraction, manipulation and presentation.
• Internal candidates: 2+ years Farmers or claims experience; external: 2+ years data extraction and reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Extract and manipulate data to solve business problems and respond to new report requests.
• Extract data from relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and data warehouses using SQL.
• Format data for business use in Excel/Access; produce reports manually or via scripting; support testing and data quality checks.
• Communicate clearly about data capabilities, limitations, and documentation; collaborate with team and customers.
