Job summary

Farmers Group Inc. is seeking a FBS (Mexico) Data Analyst (SQL & Power BI) to deliver data reports and analyses remotely. The role focuses on extracting data from Oracle/SQL Server, building Power BI dashboards, and ensuring data quality while meeting customer objectives and timelines.

The candidate should have strong Excel skills and experience with Cognos/OBIEE/BusinessObjects, plus 2+ years of data extraction and reporting experience. This remote position is based in Mexico.

Qualifications

• Respond to new requests for reports or analysis with timelines.
• Describe data capabilities and limitations clearly to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide data in response to one-time or recurring requests for reports or analysis.
• Understand customer objectives and processes; communicate timeline and estimate hours.
• Extract data from relational databases using SQL and format for business use.
• Produce reports manually and through automated scripting; support testing.
• Identify and communicate data quality issues or data differences.
