Job summary

RTX Corporation's Casting and Forging Supplier Development Lead role is remote, based in Mexicali with nationwide scope. You will lead supplier containment and development, drive readiness for new programs, and coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to ensure on-time, robust supplier performance.

The ideal candidate holds a University Degree, 5+ years in supplier development (casting/forging preferred), advanced English, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier containment actions in collaboration with Operations and Quality.
• Facilitate supplier kick-off meetings to align expectations and establish rapid response actions.
• Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RRCA) investigations to resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to develop and implement improvement plans and ensure clear communication through plan review checkpoints.
• Monitor leading and lagging KPIs to assess progress.
• Evaluate exit criteria for containment efforts and escalate when warranted.
• Partner with Commodity Teams and SBUs to ensure feedback and transition to sustainable operations.
• Develop and build manufacturing process technology tools and standardization including FMEA and Control Plans.
