Frank Darling is seeking a Business Systems Engineer to design and operate the software that connects ecommerce, inventory, sales, and production workflows. This role emphasizes translating real-world processes into reliable systems and collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.

You’ll build supplier data pipelines, Shopify integrations, pricing logic, and AI-assisted automations on AWS. The job values autonomy, clear ownership, and durable tooling that keeps running long after release.

Formación

• 2+ years writing production Python code.
• Experience with JavaScript, SQL, Bash and GraphQL.
• Experience designing, consuming, or debugging REST APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda and ECS.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Comfortable debugging production systems.
• Ability to read and improve an existing codebase.
• Experience using Git in a team.
• Strong written communication and documentation.
• Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience using Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI coding agents.

Responsabilidades

• Build and operate the systems that connect our ecommerce, inventory, sales, client care, production, and gemology workflows.
• Work on supplier data pipelines, Shopify integrations, pricing logic, internal tools, event-driven automations, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Maintain systems including inventory pipelines, Shopify integrations, internal tools, pricing engines, and data integrations.
• Spend time understanding the business as well as writing code.
