Bluelight is a leading software consultancy expanding across the Americas. We seek a senior DevOps/SRE specialist to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.

You will work with AWS services, IaC, containers, and automated deployments to deliver high-quality applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring reliability, security, and performance while aligning with client requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Production experience with Aurora/PostgreSQL, including multi-AZ failover and read replicas.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Deployment automation with rollback drills and tested rollback paths.
• Observability tooling experience (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Load testing experience (k6 or similar) and latency SLOs handling.
• Security-first mindset; vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance.
• SOC 2 audit evidence support and client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with large, complex systems and overlap with US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate DevOps/SRE solutions for large-scale systems.
• Manage AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Ensure security, compliance, and hardening practices across environments.
• Support audits (SOC 2) and client security reviews with evidence.
• Lead incident response and perform root-cause analysis for outages.
