Job summary

Capgemini is hiring a Release Management & DevOps Governance Lead in Mexico to drive planning, governance, and delivery of software releases across complex cloud-native environments. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Quality, DevSecOps, SRE, and Support teams to balance speed, reliability, compliance, and risk management.

• Demonstrates strong expertise in release management, DevOps governance, cloud operations, and CI/CD methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead release planning, governance, and deployment activities across multiple applications and environments.
• Align change management with modern CI/CD and DevOps principles.
• Assess deployment risks, dependencies, and business impacts with rollback strategies.
• Coordinate release orchestration across staging, testing, canary, and production environments.
• Partner with SRE, DevSecOps, Engineering, and Quality to improve release reliability and stability.
• Facilitate incident reviews and post-mortems for continuous improvement.
• Manage stakeholder communications regarding releases, rollouts, schedules, and changes.
• Support governance and workflow management via ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.
• Promote automation and best practices across software delivery processes.
• Contribute to cloud and container-based strategies with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
