OP Mobility in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Packaging Professional to lead packaging and flow optimization initiatives across suppliers, customers, and plant operations. You will build business cases, set action plans, and track KPI improvements such as on-time delivery and cost reductions.

The role requires 5–7 years in automotive packaging or related areas, bilingual Spanish/English, and a mindset focused on collaboration, accountability, and fast-paced environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in packaging design or equivalent automotive experience.
• 5-7 years' experience in automotive packaging and/or Transportation Management with project management.
• Understanding of packaging standards in automotive.
• Business case management experience.
• Understanding of automotive supply chain processes.
• Basics knowledge of 3D design SW tools, e.g. Catia.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; familiarity with North America cultures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead packaging and flow optimization initiatives to reduce transport costs, enhance efficiency, and ensure seamless collaboration across suppliers, customers, and plant operations.
• Define and execute packaging and flow optimization projects with clear action plans.
• Build and present business cases for leadership approval.
• Deliver against performance ambitions & KPI improvement in on-time delivery, cost, CO2 and other dashboards.

Activities

• Analyze packaging flows to identify inefficiencies and non-value-added activities
• Assess packaging performance & efficiency (damage rates, load density, stackability, foldability etc.)
• Propose packaging flow & design improvements, considering material protection, handling, stackability and transport cost
• Lead the implementation of flow and packaging optimization projects,
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and engineers to prototype and validate solutions
• Update SOPs and handling guidelines to reflect improvements
• Collaboration and contribution to create a packaging catalog and/ or unique database
