Job summary

OPmobility in Mexico is seeking a Supply Chain Design & Packaging Engineer to shape packaging solutions and optimize the end-to-end supply chain across new projects. You will work with manufacturing teams and suppliers to balance cost, quality and delivery performance while leveraging lean principles.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven decision making, and evolution of packaging specifications to meet customer requirements and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field with focus on supply chain.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics or automotive environments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and optimization tools.

Responsibilities

• Design optimal supply chain and packaging strategy for new projects.
• Develop concepts for inbound/outbound logistics and material flows.
• Manage project budgets including cost analyses and investments.
• Ensure quotations rely on standardized equipment and processes.
• Identify and accelerate risks across the project lifecycle.
• Define inventory targets to reduce lead times and improve service.
