Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in Mexico City is seeking a hands-on People Experience leader to guide a co-located team of partners within a Global Capability Centre, supporting leaders across an assigned geographical cluster.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive HR experience in regional or global environments.
• Deep expertise in at least one people practice area (leave management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organization design, learning or talent management).
• Experience leading, coaching and developing others, including setting priorities and on-the-job development.
• Proven experience in complex global organizations across regions, functions and geographies and within shared-service or tiered HR models.
• Knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements across multiple countries; sound judgment in managing escalating matters.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, conflict management and communication skills for coaching senior leaders.
• Practical experience using people analytics, data visualization, HRIS and AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team by setting priorities, balancing workloads and building capability while fostering learning, inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Manage complex people matters with hands-on guidance on restructurings, employee relations, senior leader coaching and significant organizational change.
• Advise and coach leaders across performance, talent, succession, rewards, mobility, talent acquisition, change, and organization design.
• Lead a regional practice area by applying specialist expertise and maintaining clear standards and decision criteria.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships as primary contact for HR Leaders and escalations ownership.
• Drive service quality and compliance by monitoring performance and adhering to data privacy, employment law and internal policies.
• Use data and digital tools to identify trends, inform decisions, and expand automation and self-service solutions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology or a related field
