Job summary

IKEA seeks a proactive range planning professional to administer product ranges across selling units, align ranges with country strategies, and support forecast consistency. You will safeguard product availability, coordinate new product introductions (NEWS), and assist with PCM setup for new units.

Responsibilities

• Administer the range for each selling unit in accordance with the country range strategy and Sales Leaders' decisions.
• Align offered range with the agreed range and coordinate corrections with Sales Leaders when needed.
• Assist Sales Leaders with forecast alignment and monitor discrepancies between tactical and country forecasts.
• Safeguard availability by monitoring replenishment parameters for new products (NEWS).
• Collaborate with PR&C Specialist to ensure NEWS products start selling on time.
• Support new selling units with PCM system setup.
• Provide range change planning information to Sales Leaders and units to support smooth planning.
• Assist range change implementation by creating initial forecasts for NEWS and discontinuations.
• Highlight deviations of discontinued items to Sales Leaders while considering commercial impact.
• Support range selection by providing a frame based on unit capacity and inputs from Retail Flow and Capacity Specialist, following global rules.
