Job summary

IKEA seeks a dedicated compliance professional to ensure our regulated product range remains sellable and compliant with national laws in the local market. You will collaborate with stores, IoS PR&C, and regulatory bodies to monitor legislation and implement changes in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Know the PCD cycle.
• Know what on shelf availability (OSA) is, how it is measured and what is the goal.
• Know all the product regulating authorities on my market.
• Know how to stay updated on new product legislation on my market.
• Regularly visit key authorities on my market.
• Know how to use the MMR tool.
• Know how to support stores with product safety matters.
• Know the CASY system – how and when it is used.
• Know all consumer authorities on my market.
• Be able to prioritize and organize individual work duties, to make the most efficient use of the time available.
• Have a flexible approach to my daily tasks and be able to adapt to unpredictable situations when they arise.
• Be open to new ideas and changes in ways of working.
• Have good personal discipline and be committed to delivering according to expectations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulated product range is sellable and compliant with national requirements.
• Identify national legislations and standards and monitor implementation.
• Report changes to national legislation with analysis for IKEA.
• Support product safety and non-compliance investigations; liaise with authorities.
• Identify recall procedures and safety reporting; follow Safety Alarm Routine.
• Participate in standardization work and associations to improve standards.
• Develop relationships with national consumer authorities; act as IKEA contact.
• Provide product safety training materials and development; plan successor.
• Work in compliance with Code of Conduct and local laws.
• Live IKEA values and contribute to sustainable impact.
