Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a Global Demand Planning Lead to drive SKU-level forecasts across regions, customers, and product groups. You will lead the demand planning team and partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning to align demand with supply.

In this role you will develop sophisticated forecasting models, monitor accuracy, and champion BI tools like SAP IBP and Power BI to enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience in demand planning or S&OP.
• Experience forecasting at SKU, customer, region, or product-family level.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into business insights.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate forecast changes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SKU-level demand plans for regions, customers, channels, and product groups.
• Prepare forecasts using historical performance, promotions, lifecycle changes, and market information.
• Support monthly demand reviews with analyses and documented assumptions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Supply Planning, and regional teams to gather input and align demand with supply.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias; analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Identify demand risks and opportunities; develop scenarios to support planning decisions.
• Provide visibility into supply constraints and recovery plans for customer discussions.
• Support forecasting tools, BI solutions, automation, and predictive analytics.
