Sanmina Corporation in Reynosa, Mexico seeks an Information Systems Engineer 2 to design, analyze, test, and implement applications supporting materials, marketing, accounting, and HR. The role covers OS, database, and utilities software, and plans projects for LAN/WAN and telecom systems.

You will monitor performance, ensure SLAs, assist technicians, perform root cause analysis, and develop scripts and tools for administration, automation, and security.

• Perform root cause analysis and provide resolutions for moderately scoped issues.
• Install and upgrade applications and hardware; test updates and changes.
• Develop scripts, queries, and tools for administration, automation, performance, and security.

Job Description

Information Systems Engineer 2 Performs the following functions: Designs, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs and implements applications programs in support of various functional areas such as materials, marketing, accounting, or human resources. Analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies and supports operating systems, database or utilities software. Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Analyzes, designs, acquires and implements projects for LAN and/or WAN systems. Plans, designs, acquires and implements telecommunication voice/wire systems.

• Support daily operations to make sure to keep business running. and Participates in status and IT operations meetings.
• Performsvariousfunctions on IT systems, applications, hardware, and networks.Monitorssystem performance and accuracy. Maintains service level agreements and coding standards.
• Acts as an escalation resource for Techniciansand performs neededchanges and upgrades to existing systems.
• Performs root cause analysis to identify issues. Providesresolutions on problems of moderatescope.
• Installsandupgrades applications, software, and hardware on existing platforms. Performs function, integration, and regression testing on updates and changes.
• Performschanges to existing applications and systems to accommodate temporary or permanent customizations.
• Develops scripts, queries, tools, and applications for use in administration, automation, performance and capacity monitoring, preventative maintenance, disaster recovery, and security initiatives.
