Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Project/Product Engineer NPI in Mexico to lead design and development, drive PLM-based cost reductions, and ensure compliance with customer specifications through rigorous documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years of related experience, and strong knowledge of Siemens PLM, with advanced English and proficiency in mechanical design, 3D modelling, and prototyping.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field; master's desirable.
Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions.
Knowledge of Global Innovation Management Methodology, Design thinking, TRIZ.
Siemens PLM Process knowledge.
Advanced English.
Tableau & Knime is a plus.
Knowledge of mechanical design and 3D modelling.
Test results interpretation.
Prototyping design and analysis.
MS Project.
Six Sigma tool or Core Tools.
Risk Analysis (quantitative and qualitative)

Responsibilities

Propose and implement cost reduction projects.
Manage high impact projects based on PLM process.
Design of components and mechanisms for circuit breakers.
Material specifications and surface finish designation to components.
Design and prototype product components and systems.
Evaluate product performance and implement improvements for circuit breakers.
Continuous Improvement and robustness.
Project Execution, creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Fulfill technical requirements and documentation as needed, for the projects.
