Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Project/Product Engineer NPI in Mexico to lead design and development, drive PLM-based cost reductions, and ensure compliance with customer specifications through rigorous documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years of related experience, and strong knowledge of Siemens PLM, with advanced English and proficiency in mechanical design, 3D modelling, and prototyping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field; master's desirable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions.
• Knowledge of Global Innovation Management Methodology, Design thinking, TRIZ.
• Siemens PLM Process knowledge.
• Advanced English.
• Tableau & Knime is a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical design and 3D modelling.
• Test results interpretation.
• Prototyping design and analysis.
• MS Project.
• Six Sigma tool or Core Tools.
• Risk Analysis (quantitative and qualitative)

Responsibilities

• Propose and implement cost reduction projects.
• Manage high impact projects based on PLM process.
• Design of components and mechanisms for circuit breakers.
• Material specifications and surface finish designation to components.
• Design and prototype product components and systems.
• Evaluate product performance and implement improvements for circuit breakers.
• Continuous Improvement and robustness.
• Project Execution, creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
