Siemens Energy seeks an experienced R&D Secondary Technology Engineer for High Voltage Switchgear in Mexico. The role focuses on developing reusable secondary technology solutions, ensuring reliable control, actuation, sensing, monitoring, diagnostics, and digital integration across global markets.

The candidate will lead electrical design, standardization, and international harmonization, coordinating with global teams and testing activities to meet IEC/IEEE/ANSI standards and project timelines.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable discipline.
• Typically 3–5 years of experience in electrical/control system development, preferably within high-voltage switchgear or power transmission equipment.
• Proven experience working with international engineering standards (IEC/IEEE/ANSI), requirements engineering, and global cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Electrical design and development of reusable secondary systems and standardized platforms.
• Global harmonization: align designs to IEC/IEEE/ANSI across Europe, USA, Latin America.
• Technical governance: collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency.
