Emerson seeks a Quality Supervisor/Engineer to lead quality systems in a manufacturing setting in Nuevo León, Mexico. You will ensure ISO9001 and ISO80079-34 compliance, apply Kaizen, and mentor teams to meet performance standards.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Central Planning, Sales, and suppliers, manage supplier quality, and drive waste reduction with Lean/Six Sigma to deliver cost-effective results.

Formación

• 5 years as a Supervisor/Superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Experience with ISO9001 and ISO80079-34 and statistical techniques.
• Strong problem-solving methodology and interpretation of drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Identify product specs and quality attributes with engineering and manufacturing.
• Measure production, document testing, and update QA procedures.
• Develop and communicate process performance metrics.
• Ensure timely QA support across interacting areas and intervene when needed.
• Provide plant support to Design Engineering, Central Planning, Sales, and suppliers.
• Manage external supplier product quality compliance.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Oversee implementation and documentation of the General Quality System.
• Investigate customer complaints and control quality costs like rework and warranty.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with engineering and manufacturing to identify product specifications and quality attributes; measure production; document testing; determine operational and performance rating; write and update quality assurance procedures

Develop and regularly communicate metrics that indicate performance of specific processes against established standards

Supervise that the support that Quality must provide to the areas with which it interacts is carried out in a timely manner. And where warranted, intervene personally.

Provide the plant support required for corporate personnel, such as Design Engineering, Central Planning, Sales, Corporate Quality, suppliers, etc.

Management and monitoring of products with external suppliers for compliance with internal production

Management and monitoring of compliance with SGC, ISO 9001 in its current version

Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen to optimize processes and reduce waste.

Oversee coordination and control of the implementation and documentation of the Company's General Quality System.

Investigate customer complaints, monitor and rationalize poor quality cost targets (rework plus warranty expenses) in support of company profit objectives

Competencies:
