Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and ensure compliance of the Quality Management System with customer requirements and standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing product quality concerns and ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain and improve customer quality performance ratings and satisfaction levels.
• Ensure product quality throughout the production process, from incoming materials to finished goods shipment.
• Lead and facilitate problem-solving activities for internal and external quality issues.
• Support new product launches, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Research, benchmark, and implement industry best practices to enhance quality performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team through evaluations and development plans.

Mission: Ensure the correct operation of the Quality Management System of Metalsa in all stages of the manufacturing processes in order to meet quality standards in all our products and assure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and ensure compliance of the Quality Management System with customer requirements and applicable standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively addressing product quality concerns and ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain and improve customer quality performance ratings and satisfaction levels.
• Ensure product quality throughout the entire production process, from incoming materials to finished goods shipment.
• Lead and facilitate effective problem-solving activities for internal and external quality issues.
• Support new product launches, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Research, benchmark, and implement industry best practices to enhance quality performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team through performance evaluations, development plans, and technical capability building.
• Promote and reinforce the Metalsa Culture by modeling and driving expected values and behaviors across the organization.

Job Profile:

• Proven experience in the Automotive industry or related transportation Metal-Mechanical Production Technology and subject matter expertise in Quality management. 5+ years in senior operations roles.
• Expertise in Toyota Production System (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) budget management, understanding of financial metrics, and proficiency with statistical analysis tools and processes.
• Strong people leadership, communication (written and oral) and negotiation skills.
• Experience with Automotive OEM or a significant global Tier 1 supplier (direct contact with customers).
