Job summary

Safran in North America seeks a Quality Engineer to supervise the product realization process in Chihuahua, ensuring shipments meet customer requirements. You will define quality plans, monitor processes, and drive corrective actions using lean tools. The role includes documenting quality records and leading internal/external audits.

You will also manage training with engineering and support continuous improvement, while ensuring health, safety and environment practices are followed on site.

Qualifications

• Problem solving and interpretation of plans and drawings.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and Six Sigma desirable.
• Experience with quality standards like ISO/AS and customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Control the product realization process and ensure ship of defect-free products per customer specs.
• Define and monitor quality plans and implement corrective actions.
• Lead internal and supplier audits and document quality records.
• Manage training and develop modules for trainers and operators.
• Support continuous improvement projects and manage QMS documentation.
