Industrias SL, S.A. de C.V. in Mexicali, Mexico seeks a Quality Engineer II to lead investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions across Reliability, Design, and Manufacturing functions. You will implement SPC, PPAP transfers, and maintain the quality management system to improve product quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of engineering experience, fluent English, and proven ability to drive data-based improvements in a fast-paced electronics environment.

Formación

• Proficient knowledge and troubleshooting of electronic circuits, components, PCBs, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with diagnostic equipment (SEM, EDX, X-ray analysis, scopes), statistical yield analysis, physical failure, and root-cause analysis.
• Measurable and extensive experience with influencing and negotiating in complex situations.
• Able to define process criteria to meet product and process requirements.
• Fluent English

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate strategies with cross-functional groups to meet customer requirements and business needs.
• Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action for customer complaints.
• Define, design, develop and implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures.
• Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.
• Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer of new products, PPAP.
• Plan, organize, and manage activities of receiving/outgoing quality functions.
• Participate in Design Reviews to ensure reliability standards and customer requirements.
• Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements.
• Perform weekly, monthly trend analysis and coordinate corrective actions.
• Define SPC for manufacturing processes and monitor weekly/monthly performance, implement countermeasures.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials, Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC and LEAN tools.
