FORVIA HELLA, located in El Salto, Jalisco, is looking for a skilled professional to manage claims and APQP processes for suppliers. The role involves participating in inspections, verifying non-conforming parts, and leading supplier improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of relevant experience, with a background in electronics and strong problem-solving skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in similar positions.
• Experience in electronics (commodity).
• Familiarity with PQP processes.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the incoming inspection risk assessment process.
• Verify the non-conforming part for complaint management.
• Coordinate further containment actions.
• Initiate and follow up FS notification in ERP.
• Follow supplier 8D reports regarding content and timing.
• Perform 8D evaluation in SAP.
• Coordinate and transfer claim related costs to the supplier.
• Prepare non-conforming parts shipment back to the supplier.
• Lead supplier development program.
• Initiate ACL1 and ACL2 according to process description.
• Initiate and lead escalation process.
• Release purchase parts in accordance with procedures.
• Manage APQP activities for follow-up tools.
• Train suppliers on problem-solving methods (8D, 5why, Ishikawa).
• Lead Q-alerts as coordinator.
• Plan and conduct supplier VDA 6.3 audits.

Job Objective

Independent execution of the tasks related to claim management and APQP processes for local and global suppliers.

Support and Planning

Support and plan supplier improvement activities / trainings / workshops.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Active participating in the incoming inspection risk assessment process.
• Verifying the non-conforming part for complaint management.
• Coordinating the further containment actions (e.g., rework, sorting, etc.).
• Initiate, follow up and close FS notification in ERP system.
• Following up supplier 8D reports (technical) regarding content and timing.
• Performing 8D evaluation (technical) (e.g., in SAP).
• Coordinating and transferring claim related cost to the supplier.
• Preparing of non-conforming parts shipment back to the supplier (including delivery notes).
• Leading supplier development program (SDP).
• Responsible to initiate ACL1 and ACL2 according to the process description.
• Initiating and leading escalation process.
• Releasing the purchase parts (ISIR/PPAP) in accordance with the procedures.
• Responsible for the APQP activities associated with the release of follow-up tools / ECM.
• Performing training for problem solving methods (8D, 5why, Ishikawa…) for suppliers.
• Initiating and leading Q-alerts (coordinator).
• Plan, conduct and follow up supplier VDA 6.3 audits as a co-auditor.

Experience and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in similar positions.
• Electronics experience (commodity).
• PQP processes.
