Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality across the lifecycle. You will stop production if needed to prevent nonconforming material from reaching customers and coordinate PPAP, PSW/IMDS approvals, and quality planning for launches.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years in automotive quality, with strong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, and ISO 9001/IATF 16949. English language skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in automotive manufacturing (preferably wiring harnesses or electrical systems).
• Proficient in PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and control plans.
• Experience with IMDS, PSW, and customer-specific requirements.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 and measurement systems.

Responsabilidades

• Release tooling and production equipment across the manufacturing line.
• Coordinate PPAP documentation and submit to customers on time.
• Manage PSW and IMDS approvals to 100% status.
• Develop and maintain work instructions for inspection and testing equipment.
• Perform quality planning activities including CTQ identification and launch folders.
• Inspect prototypes and support customers on quality performance during stages.
• Upload documentation and monitor quality planning in customer systems.
• Define special characteristics (CTQs) based on requirements and data.
• Define and implement production line inspection systems and visual aids.
• Ensure lessons learned are implemented in current and future programs.
• Monitor engineering changes to maintain quality on lines.
