Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality across the lifecycle, from prototype to SOP and engineering changes. The role has authority to stop production or shipments if there is risk of nonconforming material reaching the customer.

You will coordinate PPAP, manage PSW/IMDS approvals, and develop inspection and testing work instructions while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards and customer requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in automotive manufacturing.
• English language skills (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, IMDS and PSW.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Release all tooling and production equipment across the manufacturing line.
• Coordinate PPAP documentation with customers per timelines.
• Manage PSW and IMDS approvals for components until complete.
• Develop and maintain work instructions for inspection and testing equipment.
• Plan and deploy quality networks for launches and changes.
• Monitor compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Exercise stop authority to prevent nonconforming material from reaching customers.
