Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality across the lifecycle, with authority to stop production if nonconformities arise. The role supports PPAP coordination, PSW/IMDS approvals, and development of inspection methods for reliable quality execution.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering degree and 3+ years in automotive quality, with English proficiency and familiarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in automotive manufacturing (preferably wiring harnesses or electrical systems).
• Languages Spoken and Written English: strong proficiency.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, IMDS, PSW, and customer-specific requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 and measurement systems and inspection methods.

Responsabilidades

• Tooling and Equipment Release across the manufacturing line for prototypes to post-operations.
• Coordinate PPAP documentation and submit to customers per timelines.
• Manage PSW and IMDS approvals to 100% status.
• Develop and maintain work instructions for inspection and testing equipment.
• Perform quality planning activities and launch documentation folders.
• Inspect prototype parts and support customers on quality performance.
