ABB in Mexico seeks a Quality Control Specialist to conduct test protocols ensuring products, systems, or software meet requirements in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection. You’ll contribute to lean, clean operations and uphold ABB quality standards.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechatronic fields, 1+ year in electrical testing/relay-PLC, lean tools knowledge, safety basics, and advanced English.

Formación

• This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, Control Automation, Electronic or mechatronic Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in electrical testing and setting of relays or PLCs.
• Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (8Ds, RCA, Ishikawa).
• Basic knowledge of electric safety.
• Advanced English language skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct test protocols to ensure products, systems, or software meet requirements and customer expectations in various quality labs.
• Support supplier, production, testing and validation, and engineering quality activities within the local organization.
• Execute and assist quality-related training, promoting quality and integrity with a results focus.
• Collect, record, and evaluate data according to ABB specifications, customer norms, and applicable standards.

This position reports to: Quality Control Specialist

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Conducting test protocols, as assigned, to ensure products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine and Factory Acceptance Testing (F.A.T.) as applicable.
• Supporting quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering, as applicable in the local organization.
• Executing and assisting specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation.
• Collecting, recording, and evaluating data to be interpreted according to the internal ABB specifications, customer norms, and applicable national and/or global standards while maintaining a high level of integrity

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, Control Automation, Electronic or mechatronic Engineering required
• 1+ Year experience in Electrical testing and Setting of relays or PLC
• Lean Manufacturing tools basic knowledge (8Ds, RCA, Ishikawa)
• Electric Safety basic knowledge
• Advanced english
