Job summary

KEMET de México, part of the YAGEO Group, is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to ensure quality systems in the plating area in line with ISO/TS 16949. This full-time, on-site role is based at our Guadalupe, NL plant, Mexico.

The ideal candidate will hold a technical degree, have 3+ years in manufacturing, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive containment and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor´s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials or Mechanical background.
• 3+ years working in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient knowledge of advance engineering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Quality Engineer for Plating area.
• Quality Rejects analysis and trend revision.
• Work with PE team to resolve quality problems.
• Detection Improvements to reduce customer complaints.
• Quality Stations Development and protocols improvement.
• Equipment Qualification.
• Containment activities.
• Support on EOL area.

Quality Control Engineer, you will assure effectiveness of quality systems on his area in accordance the ISO/TS 16949, along to ensure meeting specific customer requirements and expected product quality. Looking for timely and effective containment and corrective actions to manages process controls to assure outgoing quality of his area. This is a full-time, on-site position located at our Guadalupe, NL plant.
