KEMET de México, parte del Grupo YAGEO, busca un Ingeniero de Mantenimiento para liderar a un equipo técnico en la planta de San Nicolás, NL. Reportará a la dirección de mantenimiento y coordinará actividades de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo para garantizar la continuidad de la producción.

Se requiere título en ingeniería relacionado y al menos 5 años supervisando personal técnico en entornos manufactureros. Se valorará orientación a mejoras y manejo de TPM.

Formación

• Titulación universitaria en ingeniería mecánica, electrónica o mecatrónica o equivalente.

Responsabilidades

• Monitorear indicadores de desempeño para evitar paradas no programadas.
• Coordinar, dirigir y capacitar al personal técnico asignado, con enfoque en mejoras continuas.
• Gestionar presupuestos, repuestos e inventario del departamento.
• Desarrollar y mantener instrucciones de trabajo y procedimientos operativos estándar.
• Aplicar herramientas de calidad y metodologías de resolución de problemas para identificar causas raíz.
• Aplicar principios TPM, MTTR, MTBF, mantenimiento preventivo, correctivo y FMEA.
• Desarrollar y ejecutar planes de trabajo para instalación, reubicación y comisionamiento de equipos.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for leading and managing technical personnel, coordinating daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and developing action plans to improve equipment performance and reliability. This role ensures compliance with Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards while maintaining the optimal operation of manufacturing equipment to support production objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position located at our San Nicolás, NL plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree as mechanical engineer, electronic engineer, mechatronic engineer or related field.
• 5+ years as a supervisor working with technical personnel in manufacture environment in maintenance area.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance indicators to avoid unscheduled stoppages.
• Coordinate, lead, and train assigned technical personnel, with a strong focus on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, spare parts, and inventory for the department.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Apply quality tools and problem-solving methodologies to identify and eliminate root causes.
• Utilize Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles, including MTTR, MTBF, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and FMEA.
• Develop and execute work plans for equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced English level.
• Strong analytical thinking to diagnose complex failures and analyze equipment data.
• Great leadership and communication skills to coordinate work teams and negotiate with suppliers.
• Problem-solving ability to respond quickly to unexpected failures.
