Safran Aircraft Engines Mexico is seeking a Quality Manager to lead and maintain the Quality Management System across the organization, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, AS9100, and certification body regulations. You will drive quality performance and oversee cost of poor quality while guiding CAPA and non-conforming product management.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Materials Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years as a Quality Manager in a Tier 1 metalworking/manufacturing environment.
• AS9100 knowledge and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining the Quality Management System at Safran Aircraft Engines Mexico. The role ensures that effective processes and procedures are implemented across the organization to meet applicable quality standards, customer requirements, and certification body regulations.

The Quality Manager drives quality performance by overseeing the cost of poor quality, managing non-conforming products, and leading corrective and preventive action plans. In addition, the position is responsible for managing the department's budget and fostering the professional development of the quality team.

The role serves as the primary point of contact for customer quality representatives, regulatory authorities, and certification bodies, ensuring strong collaboration and compliance with aerospace industry requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Materials Engineering.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Quality Manager in a Tier 1 metalworking or manufacturing company.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
• Expert knowledge of Quality Management Systems, preferably compliant with AS9100 requirements.
• Expertise in industrial certification and validation processes.
• Proficiency in Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Knowledge of Human Factors principles.
• Experience with 8D problem-solving methodology.
• Strong risk assessment and risk management capabilities.
