Parker Hannifin is seeking a Quality Manager to execute the Strategic Quality Plan aligned with global operational plans. The successful candidate will oversee quality systems certification and lead internal and external audits.

Responsibilities include managing quality teams, ensuring compliance with quality metrics, and coordinating root cause analysis. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years of experience, and strong English communication skills.

The role is based in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico.

Formación

  • 5 or more years of experience in quality management.
  • Leading Auditor Certification for AS9100:2009 and IATF16949:2009 is a plus.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification, CQA or CQE desirable.

Parker Mexico is looking for a Quality Manager.

Position Summary

Executing the Strategic Quality Plan that is aligned with Global Chomerics operational plans. The Strategic Quality Plan implementation includes leading our quality culture, developing our quality personnel, improving systems, product and process development and realization, and working closely to improve results with other functional areas.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for achieving Quality Systems certification (AS/IATF/ISO9001/14001) through department coordination.
  • Responsible for leading internal and external audits of quality systems (AS/IATF/ISO9001/14001).
  • Coordinates the document control program.
  • Establishes the calibration and metrology program for measuring equipment and machines.
  • Responsible for compliance with plant quality metrics (Scrap, rework, RPPM, ATR, NCMR Aiging, etc.) through measurement, control, and improvement.
  • Generates procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements and for the development of new products.
  • Responsible for quality assurance of new tooling. (Molds, fixtures, dies, cutting discs, etc.) as well as raw materials, components, work in process, and finishes.
  • Responsible for managing the team of quality engineers and inspectors.
  • Resolve process quality issues using problem‑solving analysis tools (5W, Ishikawa, Pareto, A3, statistical analysis, etc.)
  • Develop procedures and/or documents to ensure internal and external quality (VDS, inspection plans, visual aids, labor standards, etc.)
  • Responsible for the Zero Defects program.
  • Establish the Control Plan and PFMEA for value streams.
  • Responsible for the process audit program, LPA, or Kamishibai.
  • Responsible for monitoring customer ATRs.
  • Coordinate root cause analysis of customer rejections and follow‑up on preventive and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate the timely preparation of FAIRs (first article inspection reports).
  • Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement activities and projects such as Kaizen and HPT.
  • Responsible for the implementation of customer APQPs and/or PPAPs.
  • Coordinate PPAP submissions and customer approvals through portals and/or sales representatives.
  • Coordinate external supplier audits.
  • Responsible for the NCMR process and MRB meetings.
  • Ensure specific quality requirements are met during product and process transfers.
  • Work with different departments to define action plans regarding new part numbers and/or transfers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 5 or more years of experience.
  • Advanced English.
  • Aerospace and Automotive quality system experience required (per ISO9001:2008, IATF16949:2009, and AS9100:2009).
  • Leading Auditor Certification for AS9100:2009 and IATF16949:2009 is a plus.
  • APQP Process, PPAP, FAIR experience a must.
  • Geometric and Dimensional Tolerance Experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the job typically acquired through 5 or more years’ experience.
  • Supervisory experience (QE’s, Lab Techs, etc.) required.
  • Excellent English written, verbal, and presentation skills for internal and external audiences required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Mini-Tab).
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification, CQA or CQE desirable.
  • Knowledge of lean principles and tools.
