WEST MODULAR seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead the quality team, align with startup objectives, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance for USA projects.

You will drive supplier quality, audits, CAPA, and calibration programs, with bilingual English/Spanish communication and strong data-driven decision making.

Formación

• At least 3 years of quality management experience in startup operations.
• Experience developing ISO 9001 systems and USA construction regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering; MBA a plus; ASQ/CQE preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the Quality team toward goals and defined strategies.
• Understand USA construction codes to implement inspection methods.
• Oversee inspection across receiving, process, final, and document control.
• Coordinate MRB disposition and internal/external audits.
• Develop and maintain the Quality Management System.
• Apply SPC tools and monitor key metrics facility-wide.
• Lead CAPA activities based on field data analysis.
• Ensure calibration processes are timely and accurate.
• Define the Quality department strategic map.

Quality control manager profile with at least 3 years of experience to lead the quality control and quality assurance functions. Experienced on Suppliers quality, QSM certification and audits, listen to the voice of the customer and quality assurance, results oriented

Core responsibilities and activities.

• Able to direct the Quality team towards goals set and strategies defined.
• Understand USA construction codes to implement inspection and assurance methods.
• Direct and supervise activities of the Quality Department such as: Material receiving Inspection, manufacturing process Inspection, final Inspection, document Control, MRB Disposition, internal and external audits, and other Quality Department activities required.
• Development of the Quality Management System and insure to be compliant to regulations needed for construction in USA.
• Insure that SPC tools are used facility wide and key metrics are controlled through continuous improvement tools deployment.
• Direct and supervise CAPA activities as result of field complaints data analysis.
• Ensure that calibration processes and methods are executed in a timely manner.
• Skilled in defining Quality department strategic map.

3 years of experience in quality management focused on startup operations.

Experience on quality System development (ISO 9001 and construction related regulations in USA) bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar, civil engineering or architecture. MBA is a plus, ASQ / CQE certification or similar preferred.

Architectural background is highly desirable.

Bilingual Spanish – English (90%+ fluency)

Computer Skills: Strong experience and ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products Word, Excel, Power Point.

Capacity to read construction prints, understanding and experience of USA construction codes (preferred), Self-Motivated and Customer focus.

Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to details and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.

Able to evaluate situations, identify options and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently. Minitab, SAP, APQP.
