Job summary
Walmart is seeking a QA Automation & Manual Testing Lead to own an end-to-end workstream, driving automation coverage and leading manual regression where needed. You will manage contributors across PST/IST time zones and report initiative status to leadership.
The role requires hands-on experience with TestCafe and TypeScript for web, Appium-based mobile automation, and familiarity with Grafana dashboards for observability. Strong communication and Jira/Confluence proficiency are essential.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA with ownership of manual regression and automation.
- Hands-on with TestCafe and TypeScript for web E2E automation.
- Appium-based mobile automation frameworks (R2 or YAML-driven).
- Familiarity with Grafana dashboards for test observability.
- Experience leading distributed QA teams across time zones.
- Proficient with Jira (test management, sprint tracking) and Confluence.
- Experience with regression sign-off and issue management processes.
- Strong communication to report status to leadership and coordinate with teams.
Responsibilities
- Own test strategy for initiatives and balance coverage with deadlines.
- Build and maintain web E2E automation suites with TestCafe/TS.
- Lead mobile automation in YAML-based frameworks like R2.
- Monitor test health via Grafana dashboards and reports.
- Drive manual regression when automation is not yet in place.
- Mentor testers and provide technical direction to the team.
