Bison®, an AMETEK business, seeks a hands-on Purchasing Supervisor to lead daily purchasing activities for our Reynosa manufacturing operation. You will manage a team of buyers to ensure material availability, improve supplier delivery performance, and support production and customer delivery commitments.

Competenze

• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and purchasing processes.
• Experience managing supplier performance, shortages, and delivery issues.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

• Ensure purchase orders are placed accurately, and suppliers provide timely acknowledgements and delivery commitments.
• Drive supplier delivery performance and manage recovery plans for late or high‑risk suppliers.

Job Description

Bison, an AMETEK business, is seeking a hands‑on Purchasing Supervisor to lead daily purchasing activities supporting our Reynosa manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for managing a team of buyers, to ensure material availability, improve supplier delivery performance, prevent shortages, and support production and customer delivery commitments.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, drives accountability, escalates issues early, and works proactively to resolve supplier and material challenges before they impact operations. The role requires urgency, sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, with the ability to manage frequent coordination across suppliers and internal teams.

What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For
