Johnson Controls is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support end-to-end P2P operations and critical supplier accounts receivable relationships. The role combines operational execution, project support, problem-solving, and training to improve service delivery and efficiency.

You will work within a team focused on procurement processes, supplier management, and process optimization, contributing to cross-functional initiatives and training initiatives for internal customers.

Purchasing Specialist

The Senior Procure-to-Pay Specialist serves as a subject matter expert responsible for supporting end-to-end P2P operations and critical supplier accounts receivable relationships. This role combines operational execution, project support, problem-solving, and training responsibilities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

• Support Credit Hold resolution activities to minimize business disruptions.
• Support SIR application access and user administration.
• Reduce past-due invoices through supplier and stakeholder (AP and Category Management) collaboration.
• Provide dedicated support to Integrated Supplier Program (ISP) vendors.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Train and onboard new team members.
• Deliver training and consultation to internal customers.
• Maintain process documentation and best practices.

What Success Looks Like

• Effective and timely resolution of procurement and supplier issues.
• Strong supplier relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Reduction in invoice and payment holds.
• Active contribution to team knowledge and capability development.
