Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks a Purchasing Specialist in Mexico to support end-to-end P2P operations and supplier accounts receivable relationships. You will contribute to process improvements, training, and documentation for efficient procurement activities.

The role focuses on operational execution, problem-solving, and collaboration with AP, Category Management, and ISP vendors to reduce delays and enhance service delivery.

We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist

The Senior Procure-to-Pay Specialist serves as a subject matter expert responsible for supporting end-to-end P2P operations and critical supplier accounts receivable relationships. This role combines operational execution, project support, problem-solving, and training responsibilities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

• Support Credit Hold resolution activities to minimize business disruptions.

• Support SIR application access and user administration.

• Reduce past-due invoices through supplier and stakeholder (AP and Category Management) collaboration.

• Provide dedicated support to Integrated Supplier Program (ISP) vendors.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Train and onboard new team members.

• Deliver training and consultation to internal customers.

• Maintain process documentation and best practices.

What Success Looks Like

• Effective and timely resolution of procurement and supplier issues.

• Strong supplier relationships and customer satisfaction.

• Reduction in invoice and payment holds.

• Active contribution to team knowledge and capability development.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes and ERP systems.
