Job summary

Grundfos in Apodaca, NL, Mexico, is seeking an experienced CSSC Application Engineer to provide expert technical support and application engineering to customers across channels. You will mentor the CSSC Back Office team and help deliver optimal pumping solutions in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires a engineering degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, plus knowledge of pumps, ERP systems, and MS Office. Spanish/English communication skills are valued, and relocation is not supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of pumps and pumping systems including control panels, motors, motor protection systems, VSDs, and accessories.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP CRM/SD preferred) and MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level technical support including detailed product sizing, application engineering, system integration, and accessory selection across phone, email, live chat, and messaging channels
• Support sales teams by managing technical aspects of tenders and mid-scale projects, delivering accurate specifications, dimensions, and engineering calculations
• Develop tailored solutions by collaborating with internal teams to ensure optimal performance and practical implementation in diverse customer environments
• Handle complex and escalated inquiries and quotations, including HX and accessories, ensuring high customer satisfaction
• Identify business opportunities and hand over leads to external sales while implementing value-added services to enhance customer relationships
• Provide technical guidance and support to CSSC Back Office team members to elevate overall team capability
