Job summary

Charger logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled regulatory and public affairs professional in Mexico City or a remote role to guide the company through regulatory and policy changes.

You will support the preparation of briefs, reports, and stakeholder forums while ensuring the organization's interests are represented in legislative processes. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public affairs, a law degree with active licensure, and excellent communication and negotiation skills to navigate complex

• Bachelor’s degree in law and current license to practice.
• 5+ years of experience in public affairs, preferably in transport/logistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a regulatory resource on product and policy changes.
• Support the preparation of policy briefs, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate to organize forums with stakeholders on business activities and legislation.
• Represent the organization in regulatory proceedings and market rule developments.
• Maintain databases and track regulatory changes.
• Represent Charger Logistics in external business meetings.
• Develop and maintain policies and programs for awareness of government legislation.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a resource on regulatory matters with regard to product and policy changes.
• Support the preparation of policy briefs, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate to prepare and organize forums and gatherings with stakeholders to exchange ideas and information on business activities and potential legislation that may affect the organization.
• Help ensure that the organization's interests are represented and protected in legislative and regulatory proceedings and in the development of market rules and procedures.
• Maintain databases and track regulatory changes.
• Represent the organization in assigned external business meetings.
• Participate as part of a team to develop and maintain policies and programs to ensure awareness of government legislation and regulatory issues that affect the organization.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal

• Bachelor’s degree in law (Current license to practice law).
• Experience in a transport and logistics industry is an asset.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a public affairs. (SAT/Tax Experience)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
