Overview
The Interaction Prototype SW/HW Engineer is responsible for building quick, high quality and feasible software-hardware prototypes in different code languages and integrating them into an environment of software-hardware proof of concepts.
Qualifications
- Experience with microcontroller programing as Arduino, ESP32, etc.
- Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW
- Familiarity with JavaScript and/or Typescript
- Experience with Figma is a plus
- Experience with UX/UI prototyping is a plus
- Experience with hardware and softwaretesting
- Proficient understanding automotive communication protocols as CAN, LIN and tools related to interact with these signals
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with 3D design tools as Fusion or similar
- Familiarity with 3D printing process is a plus
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Github
- Familiarity with JIRA
- Familiarity with framework SCRUM
- Familiarity with dealer connection, TeamCenter is a plus
- Strong understanding of Software-Hardware Prototypes
- Strong understanding of Automotive.
- Adaptability, curiosity and interest for learning new things.
- Quick response to changes.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Software, Mechatronics or related disciplines.
- Deep knowledge in electronics, analysis and creation of circuits
- Exposure to Software Development methodologies and Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities
- Design, create and maintain HMI applications and simulations.
- Review and understand HW/SW documentation, electric diagrams and the ability to propose new solutions to interact with prototype hardware
- Design and develop HW/SW functional prototypes capable to reproduce early concepts from design team.
- Document application creation process and look for improvements.
- Review and understand vehicle diagrams to modify and create new “housing” parts for hardware prototypes
- Maintain an updated knowledge of current Automotive HMI market.
- Help testing current and future prototypes, looking always for best quality.
- Assist different types of customer evaluations.
- Work by using quick-response and high-quality mindset.
