Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Quality Management professional in Querétaro, Mexico to drive project quality from tender handover through closeout. You will own the Project Quality Plan, lead inspections and audits, and coordinate across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning teams.

The role emphasizes nonconformance handling, root-cause analysis, and data-driven quality reviews to ensure defect-free delivery and compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Recognized quality certifications preferred (CQE, CMQ/OE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
• Experience in EPC, power transmission, substations, manufacturing, or construction settings.

Responsibilities

• Own Project Quality Plan and risk-based quality objectives across lifecycle.
• Plan and lead gates, reviews, audits, and readiness assessments with objective evidence.
• Define inspection/test plans, hold/witness points, acceptance criteria, documentation.
• Lead nonconformance, corrective actions, containment, and RCA workflows.
• Report quality KPIs, escalate risks, and drive continuous improvement.
