Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. in Querétaro seeks a Quality Manager in Projects (QMiP) to own project quality from tender handover through installation and closeout. You will translate requirements into a risk-based Project Quality Plan and guide the team on preventive actions.

You’ll plan and drive gates, audits, and inspections; monitor supplier quality; manage nonconformances; and report KPIs with transparent escalation to leadership, while traveling to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Management within EPC projects.
• Experience in Power Transmission & Distribution projects.
• Experience in Electrical Substations and manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Ability to interpret contracts and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review project quality dashboard and status daily.
• Lead quality gates, reviews, audits, and readiness assessments.
• Coordinate inspection and test plans, hold and witness points, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead nonconformance management and corrective actions.
• Provide transparent quality reporting and escalation to leadership.
• Travel to project sites as required.
