Key Responsibilities
Your role and responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead telecom infrastructure projects from initiation through completion
- Coordinate circuit upgrades, installations, and deactivations with carriers (AT&T, Lumen, etc.)
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications
- Oversee network redundancy implementations and failover configurations
Documentation & Record Management
- Maintain comprehensive project records in Excel spreadsheets and databases
- Update and track project status in JIRA with accurate milestone reporting
- Document service orders, circuit details, and activation/deactivation procedures
- Ensure compliance with internal documentation standards and audit requirements
Carrier Coordination
- Interface directly with telecommunications carriers for service provisioning
- Manage service order processes and activation timelines
- Coordinate network outage responses and escalation procedures
- Negotiate service level agreements and support structures
Technical Oversight
- Support network engineering requirements for substation and solar site connectivity
- Assist with in-building cellular system deployments
- Coordinate wireline and wireless backup circuit implementations
- Monitor circuit utilization and recommend capacity upgrades
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, or related field
- Proficiency in JIRA, Excel, and project documentation tools
- PMP certification preferred
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- 3+ years project management experience in telecommunications
- Strong carrier relationship management experience
- Understanding of telecom circuits, network infrastructure, and carrier services
- Experience with service order management and activation processes
- Knowledge of network redundancy and failover configurations
- Familiarity with telecommunications industry standards and practice
