Job summary

Bluelight is seeking an experienced project manager to lead software development initiatives for a rapidly growing team. You will manage fixed deadlines, oversee budgets and resources, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders across multiple workstreams.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in Agile/Scrum, risk management, and coordinating nearshore delivery teams. This role supports remote collaboration with US-LATAM projects and requires excellent communication with executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects.
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines with critical-path and buffer management.
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes.
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines).
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting.
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar).
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical clients.
