Appsfactory in Guadalajara, Mexico is building our first AI & Automotive Solutions team from the ground up. You will drive end-to-end AI data and product initiatives, shaping vision and roadmap while ensuring compliant data handling and ethical AI practices.

Formación

• You have a proven track record managing large AI projects with cross-functional teams.
• 7+ years of project management experience in AI, ML, data-driven products, or automotive tech.
• Strong knowledge of AI model development, data pipelines, and cloud-based AI infrastructure.
• Familiarity with MLOps, DevOps, cloud platforms, and data privacy standards (GDPR/CCPA).
• Fluent English communication for international collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Drive end-to-end execution of AI data and product initiatives from planning to deployment.
• Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for AI-driven solutions.
• Oversee data collection, quality, governance, and ethical AI compliance.
• Establish best practices for AI model development, training, validation, and MLOps.
• Partner with AI research, data engineering, platform, software, product, and business teams.
• Manage full AI product lifecycle from ideation to scaling and sunset.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies in AI delivery.
• Track KPIs and adoption metrics, communicating roadmaps and insights to leadership.

To build our first team at our brand-new location in Guadalajara, Mexico, we are looking for a dedicated Project Manager (m/f/d) - AI & Automotive Solutions. You will play a central role in shaping the local workspace, supporting our growing team, and establishing a seamless connection with our central functions.

Your Tasks

• You drive the end-to-end execution of AI data and product initiatives, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery from planning through deployment

• You define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-driven solutions aligned with business objectives while prioritizing features to maximize customer and business value

• You oversee data collection, processing, quality, governance, and ethical AI principles to ensure compliance with regulations, privacy requirements, and company policies

• You establish and enforce best practices for AI model development, training, validation, MLOps, monitoring, and continuous improvement

• You partner cross-functionally with AI research, machine learning, data engineering, platform, software, product, and business teams

• You manage the full AI product lifecycle from ideation and launch through scaling, optimization, and eventual sunset

• You identify technical, operational, and delivery risks in AI product development and proactively implement mitigation strategies

• You track post-launch performance using KPIs, adoption metrics, and customer feedback while serving as a liaison between technical teams and leadership to provide roadmaps, performance reports, market insights, and strategic recommendations

Your profile

• You bring a proven track record in managing large, complex AI projects with cross-functional teams and minimal oversight

• You offer 7+ years of project management experience with proficiency in tools like JIRA and Confluence, preferably in AI, machine learning, data-driven products, or automotive technology

• You demonstrate a strong understanding of AI model development, data pipelines, cloud-based AI infrastructure, and automotive AI-powered infotainment, autonomous driving, or predictive analytics

• You bring knowledge of MLOps, DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) as well as familiarity with AI ethics, data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), and automotive safety standards

• You possess a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies, alongside experience in Agile and Scrum with a willingness to learn SAFe methodologies

• You showcase proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues across multiple departments

• You feature demonstrated leadership abilities to coach, mentor, and develop professionals, supported by strong organizational skills

• You bring excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively influence stakeholders and interact with international teams
