Appsfactory is building its first Mexico team in Guadalajara to develop embedded software for automotive infotainment and related UI technologies. You will design, implement, test, and deliver high‑quality embedded software, focusing on production readiness and scalability, with AI-enabled UX elements.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Linux, Embedded Linux, C/C++, and system-level software development.
• Practical experience with Python, JavaScript, Qt/QML, Bash, DBus, and Jinja2.
• Extensive knowledge of embedded/mobile UI technologies including Qt, QML, HTML5, JavaScript, and OpenGL; familiarity with iOS and Android.
• Ideally experience in automotive infotainment and navigation systems with production-grade software.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end design, implementation, testing, and delivery of embedded software solutions, including AI-enabled UX products like MBUX.
• Lead development of reusable, high-quality software components for embedded platforms with production readiness and scalability.
• Evaluate and validate new features through rapid prototyping and rigorous debugging, optimization, and profiling.

To build our first team at our brand-new location in Guadalajara, Mexico, we are looking for dedicated Embedded Software Developers (m/f/d). You will play a central role in shaping the local workspace, building high-performance embedded systems, supporting our growing engineering team, and establishing a seamless connection with our central functions.

Your Tasks

• You oversee the end-to-end design, implementation, testing, and delivery of embedded software solutions, including AI-enabled and next-generation UX products such as MBUX

• You lead the development of reusable, high-quality software components for embedded platforms with a focus on production readiness and scalability

• You evaluate and validate new features through rapid prototyping, while debugging, analyzing, and optimizing software performance, reliability, and system resource utilization

• You apply deep expertise in embedded systems, AI technologies, and UI frameworks to solve complex technical challenges and manage initiatives on-time within scope and budget

• You communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and automotive Tier-1 suppliers while balancing competing priorities, constraints, and dependencies

• You continuously improve development processes, foster engineering excellence, and actively participate in Agile models like Scrum within global, multicultural, and cross-disciplinary teams

Your profile

• You bring 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Linux, Embedded Linux, C/C++, and system‑level software development

• You have practical experience with Python, JavaScript, Qt/QML, Bash, DBus, and Jinja2

• You demonstrate extensive knowledge of embedded and mobile UI technologies including Qt, QML, HTML5, JavaScript, and OpenGL as well as familiarity with iOS and Android

• You ideally possess experience in automotive infotainment and navigation systems with a proven ability to deliver high-quality, scalable, production‑grade software

• You possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify root causes, develop practical solutions, and manage multiple complex initiatives with competing priorities

• You bring a proactive approach to continuous improvement and evaluation of technology trends alongside strong experience in Agile collaboration models

• You offer excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate effectively in international environments
