Descripción de la vacante

Appsfactory is building its first team in Guadalajara, Mexico. We seek a Vehicle Build Engineer / Systems Integration Engineer to shape the local workspace and connect with central functions in a multinational setting.

You will organize vehicle updates, establish OEM relationships, perform integration testing, and ensure ECU installation and diagnostics are aligned with vehicle architecture. Join a dynamic, international team and contribute to our growth in Mexico.

Formación

  • Solid understanding of vehicle and system development processes and quality requirements.
  • Knowledge of CAN/LIN/FlexRay/Ethernet systems.
  • Hands-on experience in vehicle disassembly and wiring schematics.
  • Experience with error tracing and diagnostics in automotive environments.
  • Willingness to travel to workshops and international sites.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate vehicle and bench telematics component updates with OEM tooling.
  • Maintain relationships with international OEM counterparts.
  • Perform end-to-end system integration testing and report software status.
  • Install, exchange, and update ECUs and related hardware.
  • Operate and maintain logging equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate software updates with diagnostic experts and verify system function.
  • Meet deadlines and travel to technical workshops as required.

To build our first team at our brand-new location in Guadalajara, Mexico, we are looking for a dedicated Vehicle Build Engineer / Systems Integration Engineer (m/f/d). You will play a central role in shaping the local workspace, supporting our growing engineering team, and establishing a seamless connection with our central functions.

Your Tasks
  • You organize, coordinate, and perform vehicle and bench telematics component updates using internal OEM tooling
  • You establish and maintain strong working relationships with international OEM counterparts
  • You perform end-to-end system integration testing and provide development teams with accurate software status assessments
  • You install, exchange, and update ECUs, including necessary hardware, wiring, and safe 12V battery changes
  • You install, operate, and maintain logging equipment while securing required hardware and software to minimize downtime
  • You coordinate with diagnostic experts to execute software updates and verify intended system functionality
  • You maintain vehicle scheduling plans to meet deadlines and travel to technical workshops as required
Your profile
  • You bring a solid understanding of vehicle and system development processes, quality requirements, and overall vehicle technology
  • You master common measurement and diagnostic tools such as CANalyzer, CANape, CANoe, and DTS Monaco to analyze test data
  • You possess sound knowledge of ECU hardware and software functionality and troubleshoot CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet systems
  • You offer hands-on experience in vehicle disassembly, interior trim removal, and reading wiring schematics to OEM standards
  • You perform wiring modifications on test vehicles, debug connectivity issues on benches, and understand vehicle architecture
  • You demonstrate basic UNIX command-line skills and systematically record bugs on tracking platforms
  • You bring a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and drive continuous process improvements within international teams
  • You offer excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate effectively in international environments
