Piston Interiors - Jaropamex Acuña in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead pre-production and development programs for interior trim projects. You will translate customer requirements into plans, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet PPAP and Run at Rate targets.

The role requires 3–5 years in interior trim, strong MS Project and Excel skills, and solid English communication to coordinate with global teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• 3–5 years of seat and/or interior trim experience, with complex project delivery.
• Experience driving complex projects and managing distributed development teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and Excel; strong English skills (80%).

Responsabilidades

• Manage pre-production build events with timelines and material orders to support quantities.
• Translate customer requirements into achievable program plans and inform milestones in writing.
• Launch development or maintenance changes on time to customer delivery and PPAP/Run at Rate.
• Resolve cross-functional issues by engaging managers and planning recovery actions.
• Oversee APQP and PPAP information and risk assessments with management.

• Manage pre-production build events with timelines, ensure that materials are ordered/trackers and sample requests to support build quantities.
• Translate customer program requirements into achievable program plans that satisfy both Irvin and the customer. Inform customer’s in writing when program milestones are in jeopardy and provide recovery plans.
• Manage pre-production build events with timelines, material orders/trackers and sample requests to support build quantities/trackers.
• Launch all new development or active maintenance program changes on time to customer delivery schedule while achieving customer PPAP and Run at Rate requirements.
• Resolve departmental cross-functional issues by engaging other managers, developing plans, and making timely/synchronized decisions based on facts.
• Manage the engineering change process, by tracking the EO, Tear Down, NPI and Implementation
• Participate on the Executive review , Gate Review, Program Look Ahead .
• Develop plans and track the completion of APQP and PPAP information.
• Use sound judgment and provide risk assessment/viable countermeasures to Irvin PM management early enough to allow for proper assistance when required.
• Confirm that team members are holding consistent weekly comunication meetings and that the Team Member are well informed , check that 4M's matrix is updated .
• Visit customer locations & plants during major milestone events to support the teams when required.
• Participate in improving the Program Management Department by performing special projects and achieving agreed upon objectives.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University

3-5 years of seat and/or Interior Trim experience preferred with expertise in driving complex projects and program deliverables and managing distributed development teams preferred.

Seat and/or Interior Trim experience highly preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Project and Excel / 80% English
