Kautex is seeking a Program Manager in Mexico to lead customer program developments and platforms, balancing quality, cost and schedule. You will define targets, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage budgets per CAR and ECR processes. Knowledge of IATF 16949 is valued and international experience is a plus.

The role requires 2+ years in program management within automotive, strong English skills, and a track record in technical product development. Local benefits are offered.

• 2+ years of broad and deep program management experience in an international automotive company.

• Ability to exercise budgetary control.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, steer and control customer program developments or platform programs with quality, cost and timing in mind.
• Develop customer-related programs/platforms within approved budget/CAR.
• Define and implement targets for assigned programs/platforms.
• Coordinate and document program information flow across internal and external teams and manage work packages.
• Define program team structure to handle customer, products, projects and geographical complexities.
• Apply FLP per QS guideline.
• Develop program budgets including investments, tools and piece costs.
• Control targets from nomination through SOP + 90 days and plant sign-off.
• Initiate, control and execute program changes per ECR processes with Kautex management.
• Support financial tracking in sales.
• Writes status reports (G,Y,R) and ensures APQP in gate reviews.
• Ensure adherence to customer requirements and IATF 16949.

What awaits you:

• Planning, steering and controlling of a variety of customer program developments or a customer platform program under consideration of quality, cost and timing
• Responsible for the customer related development of the programs / platform within the budget / CAR released
• Define and implement targets for the assigned programs or platforms
• Ensure, coordinate and document program related information flow with all internal and external departments and pass/control work packages and tasks to the assigned departments and members of the program team
• Define program team structure to manage effectively the customer, products, projects and geographical complexities of allocated customer in line with customer requirements
• Ensure the application of FLP according to the QS guideline
• Work out program budgets (investments, tools and piece costs)
• Control and achieve program / platform targets from nomination until SOP + 90 days / plants sign off
• Initiate, control and execute program related changes acc. to ECR processes agreed with Kautex Management.
• Support financial tracking process in sales
• Writes status reports (G,Y,R) for programs assigned, ensures APQP process will be followed and provides documentation in gate reviews
• Knowledge about and compliance with the customer specific requirements
• A requirement to follow IATF 16949.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Degree in economics or engineering or a comparable education with professional work experience
• Minimum of 2 years broad and deep Program Management experience in an international automotive company
• Experience in technical product development
• Ability to exercise budgetary control
• Experience in PMIis desired
• Ideally international experience by studying or working in foreign countries
• Good Business English language skills are necessary
