Job summary

Desay SV Europe is seeking a Production Equipment Engineer in Linares to manage equipment maintenance, toolings, and changeovers on assembly lines. You will prepare operating instructions, analyze abnormal issues, and support audits by addressing maintenance questions.

You should have a degree in mechanical/automation fields, be able to read schematics, and drive improvements to equipment utilization and production efficiency while training operators and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Ability to execute maintenance plans for assembly lines and monitor implementation.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and reading circuit diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment-related documents and provide training to production department.
• Manage production equipment and auxiliary tooling, including disposal and preventive maintenance.
• Understand assembly processes and resolve abnormal issues during production.
• Improve equipment utilization and optimize production efficiency.
• Perform equipment changeovers and start-of-shift inspections.
• Support customer audits by addressing equipment maintenance and technical inquiries.

Your Tasks

• Prepare equipment-related documents (operating instructions, checklists, etc.) and provide training to the production department
• Manage production equipment and auxiliary tooling, including equipment disposal and regular preventive maintenance
• Understand assembly processes and resolve various abnormal issues during production (manpower, machinery, materials, methods, etc.)
• Improve equipment utilization and optimize production efficiency
• Perform equipment changeovers and start-of-shift inspections
• Support customer audits by addressing equipment maintenance and related professional inquiries

Your Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Control, Electronics, Robotics, or a related field preferred
• Ability to execute equipment maintenance plans for assembly lines and monitor their implementation
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, ability to read circuit diagrams and troubleshoot common electrical issues based on schematics
• Ability to develop and implement plans to improve equipment utilization and enhance production efficiency
• Ability to support the development and introduction of new equipment and provide equipment operation training to assembly line operators
• Ability to support customer audits by addressing equipment maintenance and related technical inquiries
• Familiarity with tightening, coating, and board cutting processes, as well as product testing principles
• Knowledge of robotic arms from brands such as ABB, YAMAHA, and Inovance; PLCs from Mitsubishi and Omron; servo motors from Panasonic, etc
• Ability to assist in in-process product quality analysis
• Language skills: English and/or Chinese
