Job summary

Celestica in Apodaca, MX is seeking a Production Team Leader 2 to supervise a 10-25 member manufacturing team in a fast-paced plant environment. You will coordinate daily production schedules, allocate resources, monitor quality and efficiency, and ensure safety and compliance with company policies.

You will partner with planning, logistics and engineering to resolve bottlenecks, drive continuous improvement and deliver on-time production targets within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production supervision.
• Ability to coordinate resources and lead a diverse team to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a 10–25 person team in a manufacturing setting and report to a second-level manager.
• Coordinate inputs from planning and logistics to achieve on-time production within budget.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement in processes and output.
• Manage controllable operating expenditures, scrap, and consumables.
• Conduct performance reviews, coach, and enforce policy, safety and quality standards.
• Guide hiring, overtime planning, and daily scheduling to meet goals.
